Nordic Folk Musician

Nordic Folk Musician Emily is a skilled fiddler, composer, and singer, and currently one of the most talked-about and admired folk musicians in Sweden.

This talented, award-winning musician has performed in many European countries, as well as China, USA, Canada, Namibia, India, and Brazil, both solo and with several folk music groups.

With the Trondheim Soloists, she won a Norwegian Spellemannspris in 2010 for the best classical album, was named Artist of the Year at the Swedish Folk and World Music Awards, and was nominated for two US Grammy Awards. That same year, she was also proclaimed world champion on the Nyckelharpa!

Now working as a freelance musician, singer, composer, and teacher, Emily writes her own traditional music for folk ensembles and string quartets, providing beautiful music for a wide variety of events.
