This Netherlands-based Saxophone Quartet was founded in January 2004 and includes four young women who met at the conservatories of Amsterdam. This talented group performs a diverse repertoire of classical arrangements and contemporary pieces.
The quartet has already played numerous successful concerts throughout the Netherlands, including performances at the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), the Bimhuis, the Music Building on the IJ (Amsterdam), Vredenburg (Utrecht), and Frits Philips (Eindhoven). They have also performed internationally in Berlin, Paris, and St. Petersburg.
In March 2007, the Saxophone Quartet was broadcast live on Radio 4 during the Sunday morning concert in the Mirror Hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
