Scotty Mills - Speaker
Coming from humble beginnings, Major Scotty Mills grew up in South London and, through hard work and determination, went on to become a Royal Marines Commando officer. Major Mills led British Commandos on operations worldwide, including being among the first troops deployed to Iraq in 2003 alongside U.S. Navy SEALs. Well known for his inspirational leadership, he later used his expertise to inspire elite sports teams, such as the England rugby squad and Gareth Southgate’s England football team, helping develop leadership and team cohesion ahead of their 2018 World Cup semi-final run—earning the nickname “Gareth’s Secret Weapon.”
Mills has also supported Olympic and world-champion athletes, led the Royal Marines to break a 19-year endurance marathon world record, and headed recovery teams helping injured Marines rebuild their lives. After being voted the UK Armed Forces’ Most Inspiring Serviceman in 2018, he left the Royal Marines and now uses his experiences to deliver motivational keynote speeches encouraging individuals and teams to achieve ambitious goals, in both their corporate and private lives.
