An energetic 8-9 piece band delivering top-notch Bollywood music in electrifying performances, blending Bhangra, Bollywood, Urban, and World Fusion influences.

Featuring lead singer Shama, who has toured extensively in South America, the Caribbean, West Africa, Dubai, Europe, and the UK. She's performed with Bollywood music industry icons like Anup Jalota, Sukhwinder Singh, Nitin Mukesh, and Mangal Singh. Shama is also the only UK artist to have performed at the renowned Diwali on Trafalgar Square celebrations for four consecutive years, attracting crowds of over 30,000 each year.

In addition to their regular performances, the band has supported well-known UK artists such as Navin Kundra, Shin DCS, Taz Stereo Nation, Mangal Singh, and Channi Singh (Alaap). In the upcoming weeks, they'll be supporting the Indian Idol finalists in a series of concerts.

The band covers a wide array of songs from Bollywood to Bhangra, with some selected English songs too! Their performances include mehfils, dinner & dances, stage shows, melas, and corporate events. This group is based in the UK and is available for international bookings.

Shama, born in Libya, is deeply connected to her Indian roots. A versatile and adept singer, she has been performing worldwide since childhood. She received her vocal training from Smt. Swati Natekar and Smt. Krishna Chakraborty, and further developed her own unique voice and style.

Shama is the only Asian female artist in the UK to have had two long-running successful bands. She became a brand in 1994 with the popular Shama and Friends band, captivating audiences in South America, the Caribbean, West Africa, Dubai, Europe, and across the UK for the next 15 years. Her second band has been performing and producing music since 2009. In 2010, Shama debuted as a lyricist, writing "Maahi," the first track released by 515 Productions, followed quickly by "Diljaani," "Baarish," and "Jogan." Shama’s single, "Jogan," went straight into the iTunes World Music Top Ten on its first day.
