Chicago Classic Jazz Band

This Chicago-based seven-piece jazz band brings the classic styles of the 1920s and 1930s to life and is recognized as some of the finest purveyors of authentic Chicago-style jazz. Founded in 2010 by string bass player Beau, the band includes Andy (cornet), John (reeds), Dave (trombone), Jake (banjo and guitar), Paul (piano), and Alex (drums).

The repertoire these young musicians perform comes from their grandparents' golden era, but they deliver the music of Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Jelly Roll Morton, and King Oliver with energy, flair, and lively dance rhythms.

Their hard-driving swing has made them a popular favorite for both dancers and listeners.
