Dragon Squad
In Chinese culture, the dragon dance is a traditional performance most often seen at festive celebrations. In this thrilling Chinese dragon event, managing time, planning, and team resource allocation will be crucial to success.
Dragons are thought to bring good luck and symbolize power, dignity, fertility, wisdom, and fortune. Though their appearance is both intimidating and bold, they have a benevolent nature, eventually becoming a symbol of imperial authority. Dragon Squad gives teams the chance to work together to accomplish great things. This activity presents many challenges for any group.
Besides the construction part of the exercise, teams tackle problem-solving elements, network on various levels, and express their creativity. From the beginning, motivation and energy are sparked as participants enter to see their company leader drumming loudly and proudly, beat by beat. Whether you're working on constructing the head, the tail, or part of the multi-design group, teamwork remains essential.
No dragon can be completed without team members finishing their assigned tasks. Once done, each team will perform a dragon dance with their uniquely created dragons. Teams are awarded points for their creativity and performance, leading to a winning team. The dragon heads can be taken back to the workplace as a reminder of collaborative company success.
