Female Solo Violinist: Diana
This act is one of the world’s most exciting, up-and-coming musicians. A pioneering, modern, award-winning artist, this revolutionary Solo Violinist has been playing the violin since age 5 and has released 3 albums through BMG and Sony Music.
After her debut album, she was recognized as one of the country’s top 10 artists... but for this modern violinist - her journey has only just begun. Throughout her colorful career so far, she has performed solo at prestigious venues like St. James Piccadilly, Cadogan Hall, to 60,000 at Khalifa Stadium in Qatar, and to a sold-out Hollywood Bowl. Diana has also collaborated with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, conductors Robin Stapleton and Grant Llewellyn, as well as other musicians including Jeff Beck, Paul Oakenfold, Japanese pop sensations Deen, Craig Armstrong, and appears as a special guest for various PBS shows.
Diana made a huge impact in Japan, becoming an overnight child star after playing a memorial service for the JAL victims. Media in the country announced her as a music sensation and her talent has been recognized with numerous awards such as the prestigious International Foundation for Arts and Culture and being appointed as soloist with the Japan Philharmonic. Her Japanese debut album became a No.1 bestseller and was released in the UK in 2001 to rave reviews including Classic FM’s Henry Kelly.
