Flamenco Group NYC

This Flamenco Group is dedicated to creating a NYC-style of flamenco influenced by Latino art forms, and through collaboration with other artists in areas like Tap, Cuban Rumba, Salsa, and Jazz.

Established in 1979 by Aurora Reyes and Basilio Georges, the group has performed throughout New York City and on tour, continually refining its cutting-edge blend of Spanish and Latino cultural styles.

While each dancer amazes in traditional flamenco style, the repertoire also includes solo and ensemble numbers set to Cuban, Puerto Rican, and other Caribbean or South American forms. Both dancers and musicians merge their Flamenco technique with their passion for spicy, tropical Salsa grooves.

This flamenco group is available for private parties, corporate events, and weddings. For all types of performances, they offer several combinations of two dancers (male and female when available), a flamenco singer, and a guitarist.
