This Japanese Drumming Group is a private entity established in Singapore. They have their own studio offering platforms and engaging the Singapore community with rich Japanese cultural activities.

Japanese Drumming Group performs Taiko and various mask dances including Shishimai/Japanese lion dance, Okame, Hyotokko, Berodashi, Owarai, Ichimonji, Kitsune, and Miko, among others.

Additionally, they have partners who collaborate or join them in events, offering Japanese Traditional Dance, Japanese Folk Dance, ikebana groups, origami groups, and Japanese Tea Ceremony.

Over the years, the drummers have expanded their network not only in Singapore but also in Malaysia and back in Japan, where these drumming roots originated. Many professionals have been invited to Singapore to perform, lecture, conduct workshops, and participate in collaborative performances.

Japanese Drumming Group also coordinates exchange programs between Singapore and Japan. One program features a Taiko group from Japan that performs concerts at various venues and conducts home-stay programs in Singapore.
