With three gold albums and a rich, diverse background, Jazz Vocalist Rigmor is a unique musical talent on the Swedish jazz scene.

With extensive experience performing as a professional female jazz singer, Rigmor has won a Swedish Grammy for Best Swedish Jazz Album and was also awarded Sweden’s most prestigious jazz honor, the Royal Music Academy’s Jazz Prize. Additionally, she has appeared on numerous TV shows both in Sweden and internationally and has performed twice at celebrations for Crown Princess Victoria: Her Royal Highness’ birthday and the 2010 Royal wedding concert.

Taking her talents worldwide, Rigmor frequently tours with her own quartet as well as performing as a guest artist in larger ensembles. Her repertoire continues to grow as she collaborates with other musicians, including the Radio String Quartet Vienna. Captivated by the rhythms of their music, how they made a string quartet at times sound like percussion instruments, and their frequent use of improvisation, International jazz vocalist Rigmor teamed up with them to create her critically acclaimed 2010 album.
