After losing his leg during his second tour in Afghanistan as a Marine medic in 2011, Cassidy returned to his first love: performing on stage. He took the lead role in the highly regarded play "The Two Worlds of Charlie F", an original theater show based on the true experiences of wounded, injured, and sick service men and women.
