After losing his leg on his second tour of Afghanistan in 2011 as a Marine medic, Cassidy returned to his first love of performing on stage taking up the title role in the highly-regarded play “The Two Worlds of Charlie F”, which is an original theatre show based on the true experiences of real wounded, injured and sick service men and women.

A charismatic speaker and natural comedian, Cassidy has appeared on numerous national and international TV shows such as This Morning with John Humphries, radio shows such as Radio 4’s Mid Week and appeared in several short films. An expert at engaging audiences of any size, Cassidy gives inspirational and motivational speeches drawing on his own experiences of overcoming injury. His easy humour creates a comfortable light-hearted atmosphere that allows him to form a natural rapport with his audience.
