The Moroccan Folklore Dance troupe was established in 1990 by artist and choreographer Abdellah. His goal was to create dances inspired by the paintings and heritage of various regions in Morocco.
The dance troupe aims to reflect and express Moroccan artwork, customs, and traditions through their choreography with dances such as: mountainous dance, Oujda dance, Tamazight dance, Gnaoua dance, folk dance, and Sahraouian dance.
The troupe has been featured in numerous national and international events, including over 30 television episodes and multiple festival openings and appearances.
