Our amazing New York jazz band features some of the most talented jazz musicians in the country and will leave a lasting impression on you and your guests.

This jazz band's dedication to authenticity is unmatched. Our jazz band consists of outstanding musicians handpicked for their unique talent. Each musician is an experienced technician, fantastic sight-reader, and accomplished soloist. It's rare for a band to master the vintage repertoire of early American jazz, but our select few have dedicated their lives to mastering this incredible era in music history. Staying true to authenticity, our jazz band never uses a monitor speaker, modern drum set, or bass amp that could compromise their vintage sound. Instead, they focus on each talented musician's personality and style, resulting in a unique and unforgettable live jazz show. A testament to their quality is their incredible accolade as the winners of the 2017 Award for 'Best Group' in the NYC Jazz Awards.

Also available for hire with dancers who have routines choreographed to our band's music, including swing dancers, tap dancers, burlesque dancers, and chorus girls (all of whom perform with the band). In addition to professional dancers, our band can also provide cigarette girls, actors, and other performers to create a vibrant atmosphere at your event.

This group of accomplished musicians offers a choice of six different band combinations that vary in size and style:

•   Option 1: ‘1930s–1940s Big Band’

This fantastic swing-era big band performs the legendary music of Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and countless other classic bands. Our swing-era big band option consists of 15 musicians, plus an optional male or female vocalist can be added.

•    Option 2: ‘1930s–1940s Little Big Band’

A talented swing combo reminiscent of the combos led by Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and many other jazz icons in the late '30s and '40s. The brilliantly unique arrangements in this swing band are orchestrated for trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, piano, guitar, string bass, and drums. This swing-era option consists of 7 musicians.

•    Option 3: ‘New York 1930s-1940s Combo’

Another 1930s and 1940s swing band that offers a flexible approach to size. This band can perform as a 5, 6, or 7-piece, perfect for events that can't support the full-sized 14-piece big band combination.

•    Option 4: ‘1920s Jazz’

A brilliant and classic ‘jazz age’ ensemble. Exclusively playing songs from before the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, this fantastic band option will transport you back in time. Perfect for a black-tie event or even a ‘Great Gatsby’ themed event, this jazz band will not disappoint! Available as the full big band doing an amazing 1920s program or as smaller combos for 1920s jazz-themed events in smaller venues.

•    Option 5: ‘Dixieland Jazz’

Comprising 5-9 musicians, this is another flexible option perfect for jazz lovers. This band plays traditional New Orleans jazz and blues and is a fantastic entertainment solution for wedding receptions and dinner parties. Why not hire our jazz band to provide ambiance at an outdoor summer evening event?

•    Option 6: ‘20s, 30s and 40s Jazz’

This 4-piece band may be smaller in size than the other options, but size isn't everything! Our brilliant musicians who perform in this versatile jazz band regularly play at the world-famous Pegu Club Cocktail Bar in Manhattan and offer all the greatest hits from across the jazz age and the swing era. This smaller band is a perfect option for cocktail parties and dinner parties.

All of the above options feature world-class jazz musicians who have performed together at prestigious events and venues across the USA.

So what are you waiting for? Bring the classic sound and elegance of a 1920s, '30s, or '40s jazz band to your event!

Top Tips:

•    Our jazz band is completely customizable to fit your specific event needs.
•    Our jazz band can perform without a piano, perfect for outdoor events or festivals where transporting an acoustic piano would be difficult.
•    Looking for the full experience? Hire one of our smaller line-ups as a warm-up for the larger big band ensemble.
