Pi Leau

This international street theater group was established in 1991 and combines various performing arts disciplines, including dance, music, and circus, with stunning visual representations. Their spectacular performances have a narrative character and can best be described as magical and hypnotic. This atmosphere is supported by the portrayal of almost mythical characters, somewhat recognizable by their archetypal appearance and enlarged costumes. The interactive, surprising, and straightforward style involves performers on stilts moving among the audience, immersing everyone in the world of the performance.

The company has been invited by numerous renowned international festivals to perform as the opening or final act. All their productions have one thing in common: visually strong street theater that transcends age, language, and even cultural boundaries.
