Soul Band: Memphis

This 8-piece group boasts a unique sound and style inspired by artists like Earth, Wind & Fire, Otis Redding, Al Green, and Aretha Franklin. The soul band features a powerful rhythm section, blazing horns, and dynamic male and female vocalists. Their style celebrates the rich musical heritage of the 1960s and 1970s, blended with today's popular classic soul and R&B styles. Soul Band: Memphis also covers popular standards from Frank Sinatra to Motown, as well as current dance music, offering a diverse musical experience.

Some of the members include Brad Mezei, Fredrick Nichelson, Robert Lacroix, and vocalists Stefani Turner, and Tim Jones. All are seasoned veterans of the blues and jazz scene in Texas and the Southwest. Nichelson grew up surrounded by several STAX record artists and their contemporaries in Memphis.

The band has performed at events such as Taste of Dallas, Dallas Mavericks games, and venues like Martini Park, Sulivan Ringside, Glass Cactus, and many private celebrations.
