Texas Electric String Band

Founded in 2007 by award-winning violist Ion Zanca, this String Quartet has quickly become the go-to quartet in Texas. The group features standout performers from local orchestras, each a virtuoso, highly praised by both peers and music enthusiasts. The quartet was recently spotlighted in the Wall Street Journal, ESPN, Fox 4's "Good Day" program, and WFAA's Good Morning Texas.

The music they perform spans traditional and contemporary styles, whether amplified or intimate, covering genres from jazz to tango, classical to classic rock. Before forming their ensemble, members of the quartet performed individually with numerous renowned orchestras and artists worldwide, including Amy Grant, Josh Groban, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

This act is available as either a Classical or Contemporary Electric String Quartet, or as a fantastic new Electric String Band with 2 Violins, 1 Viola, 1 Cello, Bass, Guitar, and Drums.
