Dan has co-hosted the network's Open golf coverage for the past 10 years and played a crucial role in the BBC's Olympic coverage.
Dan also hosts a soccer show on BBC World that reaches over 400 million homes each weekend.
He also wrote "Dan Walker's Thronkersaurus: Football’s Finest Tales," and his second book is called "Magic, Mud & Maradona."

Dan Walker has been a staple on one of the UK's favorite morning TV shows - BBC Breakfast since 2016. He currently hosts the award-winning Football Focus on BBC One and regularly appears on Match of the Day. He has also covered major sporting events like The Grand National, Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, and The 6 Nations. He co-hosted the broadcaster's golf coverage and was a key contributor to the BBC's Olympic coverage for both London 2021 and Rio 2016.
In 2018, Dan hosted the game show Chase the Case for the BBC, and in 2019, Comic Relief asked him to help raise money by climbing Kilimanjaro, which resulted in the BBC One documentary Return to Kili.
A highlight of Dan's career was when he was invited to present A Royal Team Talk: Tackling Mental Health for BBC1 with HRH The Duke of Cambridge. He has also recently been on shows such as The Chase and Countdown, and has hosted Songs of Praise while appearing on A Question of Sport.
