Clowning Urban Dance Group
This Los Angeles-based urban dance group brings zaniness and wild fun to its audiences. The group has a refreshing take on merriment, adopting a trickster approach to humor that pokes fun at social norms. Over-the-top characters, props, costumes, and dance choreography transport audiences into another world where anything is possible.
The group offers 3 performance formats: Stage Show, Tweeners, and Antics.
STAGE SHOW - They perform a 30-minute stage show with fully choreographed dance routines, character development, extravagant props, and audience interaction that gets the crowd dancing and laughing hysterically.
TWEENERS - Tweeners are choreographed dance and character pieces performed during stage set changes. With custom music and dance, they keep the audience engaged and entertained as the production team prepares for the next act. Tweeners can last from 5 to 15 minutes.
ANTICS - Antics are designed to turn a regular DJ set into an absolute fun-filled, absurd experience. Each dancer excels in urban dancing and clowning improv. They switch from group freestyle dancing to ensemble clowning, showcasing a variety of tricks. From brushing the crowd with a giant toothbrush to spreading clown love, they skillfully keep the audience engaged by breaking the fourth wall and getting the party started.
