Sand Artist Alex

Sand Art is a performance art that uses an illuminated translucent surface to create designs in a layer of sand. Images are captured from above and projected onto a large screen. Through meticulous preparation, Alex creates animations, transitioning one image into another to weave a narrative.

Alex performs with both hands, making quick transitions to keep you engaged in the story. If you need a custom performance, please submit your request at least 4 weeks before the event. Alex spends about 40 hours adapting or creating the act and rehearsing to meet the required timeframe.

Alex can work with your storyboard and adapt the act for Sand Art, but usually, just the event's theme and the client's name are sufficient. The sand art table features RGB lighting, allowing the artist to change the illumination color during the show to match the audience's mood. The sand art table is portable, consisting of a crate measuring 1.4 x 0.9 x 0.4 meters and foldable poles for camera placement. For larger events, cameras can also be suspended from the stage setup.

The total weight is approximately 45 kg, and it includes glass and lighting, so careful handling is necessary. The act requires a stage space of 1.5 x 1.5 meters for projection screen use, projector, and camera. When inquiring, please specify the stage layout and whether you need our camera for the event.
