Virtual Christmas Message

1. What will the Christmas message include?

This Christmas Eve treat features a delightful personalized message from two of Santa’s favorite reindeer, Merry and Berry, up at the North Pole. 

Here is an example message:

The reindeer start by introducing themselves, telling the kids that the sleigh is loaded, and they are about to leave the North Pole with Santa. They mention that since [personalized names] have been so good this year, Santa wanted them to share a special message. They remind the kids that for Santa to deliver presents, they should be sound asleep. 

They will then give a personalized message specific to your child or children, recite a poem to get them ready for bed, and go through the Christmas Eve checklist: PJs on? Check. Mince pie and carrots out? Check. Teeth brushed? Check!

After that, Santa calls for the reindeer, saying, "Come on, you two, we have a busy night ahead!" The reindeer say goodbye, run out of the shot, and the video ends.

It is recommended that children watch the video at least 30 minutes before bed to avoid being too excited to sleep!

2. How many performers are there?

You will see 2 talking Christmas reindeer.

3. How long will the video take to make?

The Christmas reindeer will need 1 week to work with Santa to create your personalized video.

4. Can the message be pre-recorded or live-streamed?

Yes, the personalized message can be either pre-recorded or delivered as a slightly longer interactive live stream. The live stream offering will not be available on Christmas Day, and the reindeer will adjust their dialogue to reflect this.

5. How long can the message be?

The pre-recorded video will be approximately 5 minutes long, while a live-streamed message will be about 15 minutes.

6. How is the message personalized?

The video will include your children's names, your location, and a special message specific to your child.

7. How long will the pre-recorded video take to make?

The Christmas reindeer will need 1 week to create their personalized message. For a live-streamed performance, they will need about 2 weeks to prepare the festive show!

8. Where will it be filmed?

The personalized message can be filmed in the woods, by the fireplace, or in front of a traditional Christmas setting like the Christmas tree. Different backgrounds are open for discussion and suggestions are welcome.

9. What poem will the reindeer read?

The Christmas reindeer will read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

10. Can I choose a poem?

Yes, our reindeer are happy to learn a new poem for your personalized pre-recorded video or live stream. Additional costs may apply.

11. What platforms can the live stream be on?

This can be delivered to you and your children on Zoom. Other platforms can be discussed.

12. Are there any platforms you cannot use?

WhatsApp will not be compatible for your live stream.

13. Where can the live stream be recorded?

This will likely be by the fireplace or by the Christmas tree.

14. How will the pre-recorded message be sent to me?

The video will be sent via WeTransfer with a 7-day download window, but we recommend downloading it right away.

15. Will the kids need anything to participate?

In the video, the reindeer reference a checklist, which can include everyday household items and Christmas items like mince pies. Items can be tailored to suit the client's culture. 

16. I would like a personalized pre-recorded message for each of my employee's children. Is this possible?

Yes, absolutely! The lead time will be extended due to the volume of work and will be discussed upon inquiry/booking. 

The Christmas Reindeer can offer up to 30 pre-recorded videos for 30 households.
