1. Please describe your Virtual Show
After a 10-minute introduction that includes tips on getting the most from your stream, David calls on a volunteer for his first trick.
This is followed by a fun chat about how David got into magic, before he shows three guests how he can predict their answers.
Next, all guests join in using the chat function for David's fun take on the 'street game' Three Card Monte.
Calling up another guest, David performs a silent routine with a surprise ending, followed by another trick involving all online audience members.
More magic follows as five audience members experience 'Magic Moments' with a surprise ending involving time.
The final 10 minutes feature David teaching a guest a trick and ending the performance with a customized message for the client's event.
2. How can this experience be customized?
The experience can be customized by adjusting the length of the performance, ranging from very short up to 60 minutes. The show's message can be themed to achieve desired outcomes like Motivation, Employee Satisfaction, or Client Appreciation. Typically, one week is needed to personalize an event.
3. Can the show be pre-recorded?
Yes, David offers both pre-recorded videos and live-streamed shows. He can record a specialized video for your company that includes magic and an important message for your employees or clients. This makes you stand out from competitors. Since the virtual magic show relies on interaction, a pre-recorded show is limited to 25 minutes. David needs three days to create a pre-recorded video.
4. Where is your show set up?
The virtual show is filmed at our artist's home. David has an assistant who works behind the scenes to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the performance.
5. Is the show interactive?
The performance is highly interactive. David uses volunteers throughout the show to assist with his routines. There's also a part where the magic happens right in the audience's hands. The interaction method varies depending on the streaming platform. David often uses the chat function to engage with the audience.
6. What platform do you prefer to use for your Virtual Show?
The show works best on Zoom. David has also used YouTube Live and social media live to stream the show for clients.
7. How long is your virtual show?
The virtual experience can be tailored to the client's needs. David has performed online shows ranging from five to 60 minutes.
8. Do guests need anything to participate?
Guests don't need anything to participate. However, for longer shows, a deck of cards is recommended. These will be used in a trick that happens in the guest's hands. This part can be skipped if cards aren't available.
9. Is there a minimum and a maximum number of attendees that can take part in the show?
There is no minimum or maximum number of attendees. If needed, David’s Zoom account can accommodate up to 1,000 devices.
