If you’re looking for an exciting tour that mixes culture and delicious taste sensations, this fantastic food tour in the beautiful Italian city of Bologna is just what you’ve been searching for.

Suitable for both vegetarians and celiacs, this food tour is incredibly inclusive and will have guests trying a range of local delicacies in some of the city’s most stunning locations. Attendees will be taken on a whistle stop tour of the city, with pit stops at various venues to feed their hunger and quench their thirst!

Attendees will get to walk through the markets and historical shopping centre, soaking up the culture of the city. The tour will set off with a gourmet coffee tasting - we all know how much Italians love their coffee - and a tour of the ‘Quadrilatero’, otherwise known as the foodie heart of Bologna. Attendees will be encouraged to explore the shops like locals and pick out what ever they fancy trying - our guides will be on hand to help them decide.

A traditional fresh pasta artisan will be the next stop, attendees will learn how tortellini, tortelloni and tagliatelle are made - no one makes it as good as them! Later there will be a stop off at one of the oldest osterias in Italy where attendees can sample some of Bologna’s best cold cuts, local cheeses, breads and balsamic vinegars. Wine will also be on offer for those that want to unwind.

The last stop on the tour is one of the most famous gelaterias in town - what better place to find the perfect dessert? The only problem here will be choosing which flavour of gelato to sample!

The Bologna food tour lasts approximately 4 hours and will be lead by a professional tour guide who is fluent in Italian and English. The beauty of this tour is that all the places visited, and delicacies tried, have been chosen for their historic significance and outstanding reputation amongst both locals and connoisseurs.
