CASE STUDY: Cyclone Challenge at Convention
Gaming enthusiasts and leading names travel across the world to Cologne in Germany, every year for Gamescom. This hotly-anticipated event is the ultimate highlight in Pro Gamers’ calendars. Nearly 400,000 visitors enjoy the fruits of the convention including interactive activities, retro arcades and even cosplay.
Our client, Paysafecard, needed a unique and fun activity to increase footfall to their stand, so we provided our Cyclone Ball Exhibition Game. The PINado challenge (aptly named the promote their latest security-savvy innovation) challenged attendees to compete against each other to collect the most balls. Inside perspex cylinders, a cyclone of air whips participants into a frenzy as the clamber to catch the flying objects. To add to the excitement, it was a race against the clock! Crowds of people flocked to the stand to watch the competitors in action. Mission accomplished.
