Professional musicians with a wealth of experience, our jazz sextet is comprised of saxophonists, a drummer, a bassist, and a percussionist performing on authentic African instruments such as the djembe, tama, lunga, balafon, and bells. Influenced by afro beat pioneers such as Fela Kuti, Steve Coleman, Manu Dibango and Aka Moon, this gifted group supply a colourful and eclectic show full of irresistible jazz riffs, grooves, and improvisations, resulting in a warm and comprehensive sound that shines through in every one of their original compositions.
