Damian Hughes - Keynote Speaker
Damian is a motivational and keynote speaker who seamlessly blends his practical and academic background within sport, change psychology and organisational development, to help organisations in establishing a high-performance-led culture. The tactics used to foster this important culture are further explored in his eight best-selling business books and his recently co-authored Sunday Times bestseller, High Performance. In addition, Damian was nominated for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year award in 2007 for his biography of boxing legend Sugar Ray Robinson, as well as co-authoring two other critically acclaimed biographies of boxing stars.
In 2010, Damian was appointed as a Visiting Professor of Organisational Behaviour for Manchester Metropolitan University.
Additionally, Damian is the co-host of The High Performance Podcast. In this acclaimed series, he has had the privilege of interviewing many impressive figures in business, sports and the arts sector, allowing him to explore the behaviours and psychology behind developing and, perhaps more importantly, sustaining a high performance.
He has previously served as a member of the coaching team for a wide range of national and international sports teams including the Scotland Rugby Union and England Rugby Union.
Damian has worked alongside a large number of corporate clients and sports teams and his innovative approach to high-performance tactics has been celebrated by high-profile individuals such as Sir Richard Branson, Tiger Woods, Jonny Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson and Muhammad Ali.
