Electric Violinist Cristina
Cristina is a classically trained, electric violinist with many years of stage experience. She performs stunning beautiful contemporary pop songs, classic and jazz covers on the violin.
She has won numerous prizes in national and international competitions, recorded CDs with various international projects, toured and performed extensively throughout Europe, in South Africa and Zambia gathering a total of more than 700 live performances.
Cristina began studying the violin when she was almost 9 years old and had her first European tour as a soloist at the age of 10 in France. A few months later, she participated in her first violin competition where she was awarded the 3rd prize, the only one granted on her age category.
The next years followed with winning over 20 prizes such as: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize and Special Prize in various national competitions. Cristina was also a member of Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra, being one of the 50 musicians rigorously selected by the members of Berlin Philharmonic from applicants from all over the world to take part in Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra concert sessions in the renowned Concert gebouw Amsterdam and Berlin Philharmonic, TV Production and tours in Europe in 2001 and 2002.
Throughout her musical career, Cristina has had favourable media coverage, with many articles being written about her musical activity. With her new Single “I’m Alive, It’s My Time”, produced by South Africa’s leading Composer Gabi Le Roux, Cristina Kiseleff redefines the perception of classical violin, announcing a new era of entertainment!
