This professional group of magicians share a love for the European swing of the 1920s and 1930s that was made famous by the incredible Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Inspired by this duo, the band performs from a repertoire that includes all the classic standards of the gypsy jazz genre including: Minor Swing, Nuages, Sweet Georgia Brown, Swing 42 and Swing Gitane, as well as non-traditional reinventions. Though of course the band are always happy to take requests!
Entertainers as well as musicians, this ensemble will create a lively and upbeat atmosphere with their infectious brand of gypsy jazz. They can play in a number of different configurations to suit a whole range of events; from a guitar duo, to a quintet with two guitars, a violin, double bass and female singer! Their versatility allows them to cater to events that require gentle background music as well as parties looking for centrepiece entertainment.
