Transport your guests to Japan with this group of traditional Japanese performers; comprised of a Japanese flute ensembles, taiko drummers and a lion dance this authentic show will WOW audiences.

A spectacular show, the lion dance is a long-standing tradition in Japanese culture traditionally performed during New Year and religious Shinto festivals. Dressed in green dyed cloth with a lacquered woodenhead, the lion is manipulated by a single or multiple dancers accompanied by shinobue and taiko percussion. This mesmerising dance and hauntingly beautiful harmonies are sure to impress any audience.

The Japanese flute ensemble are lead by renowned musician Suzuki Kyosuke, a member of the Wakayama Performance Troupe, he has toured internationally, regularly performs at the National Theatre of Japan and has collaborated with world-renowned taiko groups including Oedo Sukeroku Taiko, Amanojaku, and the Kenny Endo Taiko Ensemble. This stunning Japanese flute ensemble will not fail to impress audiences of all musical tastes.

This versatile group can perform the lion dance and flute ensemble separately or as part of an extended show, as per the needs of the client. This incredible cultural show will be the perfect addition to your event.
