Saxophonist Richard

Richard is an extremely talented saxophonist and composer from Dresden in Germany.

Having started his musical journey from a young age, Richard is a virtuoso and experienced performer. Inspired by jazz musicians such as Brian Blade, Joshua Redman, Dave Holland, and legends of the bebop, hard bop and cool jazz era like John Coltrane, Lee Konitz and Miles Davies, his performances conjure up feelings of the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s.

His repertoire features subtle rearrangements of jazz standards as well as original compositions, and his beautiful melodies will delight and captivate audiences. He can perform in a range of styles from smooth to uptempo; whether you’re looking for relaxed background music or something to get guests dancing all night he can create the perfect atmosphere for your event.

As well as playing as a soloist, Richard can also be accompanied by his band featuring a piano, double bass and drums, creating a jazz quartet that will blow you away with their playful rhythms and up-tempo performances.
