String Music Singapore

Comprised of established string musicians based in Singapore, the quartet perform live string music for weddings, functions and corporate events. First inspired by wedding performance, the girls have been performing together for some years. The elegance of quartet music brings out the standard of the event and gives the audiences/guests a refreshing musical experience at the same time.

An elusive vibe emanates from their music, creating a subtle allure that draws in the crowds.  Mentored by Music Director and lead violinist Mr Lester Kong, the four ladies are set to take on the stage and present an elegant twist on the traditional string quartet.

Their impressive repertoire features classical favourites, waltzes to tango, jazz to gypsy, pop songs to movie theme songs and many more!  The group perform novel interpretations of jazz classics such as L.O.V.E, Sway, Girl from Ipanema etc.  The quartet's beautiful melody has already won over crowds at notable events such as "The Launch of Scott Brownrigg's Singapore Office" held at the British High Commissioner's Residence and Alkaff Mansion's Wedding Show, among others.

This string Quartet is whimsical, yet packs a punch as Singapore's first jazz band on strings, breathing fresh air into the music scene.
