Aerialist Joanna

As an award winning aerialist, Joanna works both nationally and internationally as a professional aerial artist and performer. Her high skill level, professional conduct and extreme motivation have given her a diverse and colourful career with 10 years of performance experience. 

Specialising in the art of aerial corde lisse, Joanna is also highly proficient in aerial silks, hoop, double trapeze, double swinging trapeze and physical theatre. She is skilled in acrobalance and frequently performs as an acrobatic flyer and core aerialist.  She studied ballet for 15 years and contemporary dance for a further 5.  She has a BA degree in sculpture from the University of Southampton, and particularly enjoys integrating artistic ideas with circus skills to create innovative and exciting new works.
