Bollywood Electric Strings is an acclaimed world music electric string duo with electric cellist Lizzy and virtuoso violinist Marsha. Their fusion of Eastern and Western music makes them a unique spectacle.
Having performed together at locations ranging from Italy to China, Marsha and Lizzy have honed the Classical-Crossover Show over many years to provide a musical spectacular of the highest quality to add a unique blend of elegance, sophistication and exclusivity to international corporate events, product launches and parties.
They have incorporated Eastern and Western music to create many different types of shows one of them being:
The Bollywood Show
The group has a specialised Bollywood show which can be supported by a professional Bollywood dancer and choreographer Fleur. The performances include orchestrated backing tracks, which include the beautiful and hypnotic melodies of Humko Humise Churalo and Kabhi Kabhi through to the upbeat, explosive rhythms of Jai Ho and Dhoom Machale to provide a compelling, breathtaking event.
Performing as either an electric strings duo or a music and dance trio, the show is tailored to your needs. Do you have an aspiring 'Slumdog Millionaire' movie star in your organisation who fancies himself as a Jai Ho dancer? Then they can surprise him by asking him to join them on stage!
Bollywood Electric Strings can also provide an acoustic string quartet who can perform background music – ideal for both Western and Asian weddings and receptions.
