Based in Rome, Max is considered as one of the most important jazz saxophonists in the contemporary Italian Jazz scene. He has played at some of the most important jazz clubs and festivals in the world and gained a considerable reputation by international jazz critics and audiences.
Saxophonist Max won the “Massimo Urbani” in 2000, the 1st prize in “Baronissi international Jazz Competition 2000”, and was public nominee in “Tramplin Jazz D’Avignon” in France. He is also available as part of a duo (sax and piano), trio (Guitar, Bass, Sax) and Quartet (Guitar/Piano, Bass, Drums).
