Korean Drummers

Formed in 1984 the Korean Drummers primarily aim to rekindle the spirit of ancient Korean festivals. The ensemble captivate audiences with traditional Korean drumming and songs. Their infectious authentic rhythms awaken the human spirit. The explosive and driving pulse of the percussion invites the audience to share in this collective energy.

Presented by creative, highly skilled, and passionate Korean performers, the drummers have introduced high quality Korean arts and culture to Europe and America.  Their energetic and passionate team has staged hundreds of international performances and recently toured in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Israel, Africa and across Europe. 

Through singing and dancing along with the powerful sound of drum, the show warms your heart filling it with joy. The Korean Drummers will let you experience the true fever of the ancient festival. Notable appearances include WOMAD from 2005 to 2009, WOMEX 2009, and Roskilde Rock Festival, Roskilde, Denmark 2010.
