Gaining inspiration from expected and unexpected avenues, Light Artist Michael creates incredible ephemeral art and animation using photography and coloured lights.

Putting the camera in a long exposure and using it to create incredible words, images and figures his amazing figures all appear to interact with their surroundings in a way that’s comical, fun and highly engaging. Filling an environment with 3 dimensional ‘brush strokes’, vibrancy and energy, Michael turns the ordinary into the extra-ordinary.

Light artist Michael has previously worked with clients who require bespoke designs for projects including TV commercials, film, company profiles, billboards, animation, global campaigns, tabloid and magazine editorials and features, private commissions, viral animations, album covers, work shops and anything that stretches the imagination.
