Saxophonist Ian is a superlative Smooth Jazz and Jazz Standards saxophonist who has worked at the highest levels of the industry and with international artists such as Barry Manilow, Gladys Knight, Sister Sledge, The Four Tops and The Temptations.

He is a true professional who performs not just as part of outstanding combos (duos, trios, quartets) but also as solo sax with backing tracks for corporate events, weddings and parties.

As a versatile instrumentalist, Ian has developed a reputation as a first call musician for a variety of projects from concerts, through to theatre and primetime TV and Radio shows.

He has been Lead Alto Saxophone and Woodwind for concert tours with artists such as, Gladys Knight, Barry Manilow, Frank Sinatra Jnr, Sister Sledge, The Three Degrees, The Supremes, The Four Tops and The Temptations. In theatre, Ian has been in the orchestras of top London West End shows Chicago, West Side Story and City of Angels.

Other UK theatre tours in which Ian has been “in the pit” have been on Hairspray, 42nd Street, Singin in the Rain, Copacabana and many more. Ian has also been seen “treading the boards” and playing a little saxophone and woodwind at the RSC in Stratford Upon Avon in productions such as The Winter’s Tale, Pericles and Timon of Athens.
