Taiko Drummers: Hiro

A Manhattan based Taiko drumming ensemble, this act has thrilled audiences throughout the US with performances of Japan's traditional drumming.

These professional musicians combine the training and discipline of Japanese martial arts with the precision and power of complex drumming to produce visually stunning and musically dramatic performances.

The group’s instruments - all hand made by the ensemble - range from small eight-inch hand-held drums, to five foot barrel drums, as well as the giant 250 pound O-daiko.

This amazing and extremely talented Taiko drumming group have performed extensively at museums, schools, festivals and concerts; as well as teaching workshops at their own studios.
