We organise Team Building activities and incentive programmes for corporate groups and VIPs to Amsterdam and Holland delivering experiences and activities that are unique to the region.

Authentic Holland delivers an experience that is both unique and educational for your corporate group away days, offering an incredible insight into a community that is steeped in history dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. A great option for a VIP group outing or team building activity day enabling all who visit to immerse themselves in a vibrant and traditional living and working community. Perfect for team incentive trips and corporate parties with busy schedules, allowing for a true flavour of Holland, along with a wealth of information to be discovered in a limited time. Your VIP group will have the possibility to purchase traditional handmade clogs and an array of authentic cheeses to take home as a souvenir. The option to decorate your very own clog is also available during our workshops for up to ten people or why not have your company logo design featured on your customised clog keyring to take home and remember the trip by! 

Scarlett’s exclusive authentic Dutch experience offers a unique backdrop for your international business trip or private corporate event in Amsterdam,  allowing your group to hold meetings, enjoy dinner and visit the sights. This is also possible by boat! Extensive experience with group visits enables the staff to provide multiple customised options to suit every preference. Five tour options are available ranging from a typically Dutch option to a pancake lunch or a customised tour. 

Organised groups will have the opportunity to visit windmills, barns, houses and museums that are built in the typically Dutch wooden architectural style. Enjoy the traditional tours, taking a walk through the authentic buildings and the unique peat meadow landscape before watching crafts such as clog and cheese-making before. End the day with a boat trip on the River Zaan whilst taking in the stunning landscape and find out about the area’s rich industrial heritage. 

Our authentic Dutch Experience offers the choice of five packages 

  1. Typically Dutch - A walking tour, visiting paint mills, the oils mills or sawmills and view a range of traditional crafts such as cheese & clog-making, pewter working and Delft blue pottery painting. Visit the museums and windmills to complete the experience.
  2. Typically Dutch Plus - Follow a walking tour with a boat trip on the River Zaan. Your tour guide will inform you about the picturesque setting and the area’s rich industrial heritage.
  3. Authentic Dutch Experience Guided Tour - This option allows to book a guide for a tour and customise your own programme, choose either a local or multilingual guide and here about the history & stories of the Authentic Dutch experience 
  4. Pancake Lunch  - The day begins at the Museum & Verkade Pavillion, before enjoying a pancake lunch in a restaurant located in an authentic 18th-century grain barn originally from Wormerveer. The building has been located here since 1976. This package is ideal for international groups offering a truly traditional culinary experience in an authentic environment. 
  5. Authentic Dutch Experience Customised Tour - This option allows your group to book a guide for a tour and customise your own personalised  programme. 

Useful Tips 

  • Duration of tours will last approximately ninety minutes
  • Maximum of 20 people per individual tour 
  • Comfortable clothing and footwear recommended
  • Multilingual tour guide available for all tour options
  • Typical Dutch Plus Tour runs between the 1st April to the 1st October 
  • If booking our clog workshop it is recommended to book four weeks in advance of your trip
  • For a customised clog keyring, we must have your order four weeks prior to your trip
  • During the tour, your group will be visiting at least one windmill for their different purposes. In addition they will be visiting the traditional crafts of clog making, cheese making, tin foundry and special Delft blue pottery painting. 

Our Scarlett Event team can arrange luxury coaches, executive fleets, VIP coaches, mini buses or limousine services to pick your guests up from their hotel and take them to our Authentic Dutch Experience.
