Charlie Martin - Racing Driver

Charlie Martin is a pioneering motorsport driver who has built an inspiring career by competing authentically and challenging barriers within the sport. She aims to make LGBTQ+ history as the first transgender driver to compete and win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, having finished 2nd in class in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo support race in June 2024.

Charlie has become a prominent advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion in motorsport, working with organisations and brands including Vogue, Stonewall, Racing Pride, Athlete Ally and Motorsport UK. Since coming out in 2018, she has used her platform to champion trans inclusion in sport, speaking across television, radio and major media platforms while advising on industry inclusion initiatives.

Drawing on her experiences in elite motorsport, Charlie also works with organisations to improve trust, teamwork, risk management, performance and inclusion through powerful storytelling and practical coaching.
