Folk Pop Singer Melanie

Folk-pop sensation Melanie is a singer-songwriter and a world-class strummer on the guitar and banjo.

Having studied guitar and voice at a Jazz Pop Music College in the 1990’s, Melanie began touring bars and clubs in Canada with rock and country bands.

With a voice, “like chocolate” Melanie now performs all of her own hits to listeners all over the world, including President William J. Clinton, and has even performed on stage with Diana Krall, Faith Hill and Chaka Khan.

Over Christmas 2009 she sang in Afghanistan for troops and her fast pace extensive tours also have her playing concerts in Finland, USA, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Estonia, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Poland, The Czech Republic and Canada.

Her roots-pop style is warm and uplifting; suitable for a wide range of events, Melanie’s friendly and down to earth personality makes her music accessible to all.
