This ensemble is inspired by the hot swinging music that emerged from the infamous Parisian Cafes and nightclubs of the 1920s & 1930s.
The band put on a show which celebrates both the romanticism of the finest musettes and waltzes from the French tradition and the burning excitement of those hot gypsy swing numbers made famous by Django Reinhardt.
With a nod to those American jazz musicians visiting Paris, such as Louis Armstrong and Sidney Bechet, the group features both trumpet and clarinet alongside the timeless two-guitars and double-bass line-up.
The perfect mix of European finesse and the restless fervor of American swing, this act are the modern-day embodiment of the spirit of a by-gone age.
