A talented jazz pianist born in the Virgin Islands, Allen has blazed a musical trail across much of Asia after earlier doing the same in North America. Alan travelled in the US jazz circuit and achieved notoriety in jazz circles recording and playing with, among others, bassist Gary Peacock and drummer Lewis Nash.
He has lived, worked and played in Los Angeles, Seattle, North Carolina. He moved to Hong Kong in 1992 playing at some of the top jazz clubs and venues in Hong Kong. He has lived in and played all over Asia, and is in huge demand to perform at cocktail parties, jazz festivals, jazz clubs and corporate events throughout Singapore and Hong Kong.
