This Melbourne based performing arts company performs a remarkable fusion of theatre, dance and circus performance, incorporating a unique elevated medium which sets their act quite literally above the rest. The five metre sway poles create a large-scale visual spectacle that can perform to audiences numbering in the thousands while remaining engaging and accessible.

Originally based on the image of a field of wheat swaying in the breeze, the poles’ extreme strength and flexibility allow the performer to bow to impossible angles, swaying back and forth in a hypnotising dance as the audience looks up in wonder. Their world-renowned performances have achieved a near-cult status in almost every continent across the globe, and they perform regularly at festivals, special events and private functions.

In this performance, eight colourfully costumed characters enact an intriguing ritual of courtship atop five-metre sway poles. Their synchronised choreography has them bending at impossible angles, swaying towards and away from each other above the crowd; their hypnotic dance will leave audiences breathless. A story of love, freedom, loneliness and joy, this show will appeal to audiences of all ages and nationalities. A truly sensational visual spectacle, it will create an atmosphere of excitement and joy at your event!
