Street Drummers

These lively street drummers perform in the major cities of the world, making people dance and smile as they go about their daily lives! Street Drummers exist to entertain, make people stop and laugh and generally knock your socks off.

The group started in September 2011 when two friends played at a church fête in the middle of a field for 10 minutes. Just three months later, in December, Street Drummers played on the streets for the first time in the centre of Chelmsford in Essex. They played for nearly two hours attracting huge crowds, loving every second and knew this was something they wanted to pursue.

Since then, Street Drummers have travelled the UK, playing as far north as Edinburgh and as far south as Southampton, with a whole load more in-between. they use a combination of drums, buckets, comedy costumes and backing tracks to provide the perfect blend of unique street entertainment.

Street Drummers are also proud to be making history in their hometown of Colchester, as the first live music in The Playhouse since the 1970s and the first live music EVER to perform on the roof at The Bull!

Street Drummers use well known tracks as part of the show and, thanks to the tweets of onlookers, artists such as Owl City, Ellie Goulding and Olly Murs have seen their videos!

Street Drummers also provide a live show which is bigger, louder and more epic with more drummers, more tunes, more comedy and more collaborations. Perfect for entertainment in clubs, bars and music venues, Street Drummers also take this show across the UK to corporate and special events.
