String Orchestra Paris
After having directed numerous orchestras in France and abroad for over 10 years, Jean-Philippe Sarcos created in 2004 a new ensemble with a new style, bringing together an orchestra of period instruments and a choir specialized in the interpretation of early music. The orchestra is committed to the interpretation of the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic repertoire. For each musical era, the musicians use different instruments.
Jean-Philippe Sarcos has directed the String Orchestra in numerous highly acclaimed performances at festivals such as the Lourdes Festival of Sacred Music and the festivals of Sylvanès, Auvers-sur-Oise, Saint-Malo, Saint-Victor Abbey in Marseille, the Early Music Festival in Seville and the Festival de La Chaise-Dieu.
