1. How does it work?

This is a live-streamed experience via Zoom. Although, alternative video conferencing platforms are also possible. Our Virtual Poet will introduce themselves and describe how they will use the typewriter in front of them. Then, our Virtual Poet will ask participants to come up with a theme(s) that will be used to create their personalized and original poem in real-time. After the poem is typed up on the vintage typewriter, our poet will read the poem aloud.

2. How will recipients receive their poem?

Poems are emailed to the clients or participants directly after the session and hard copies can be sent via post for an additional fee. This must be discussed in advance.

2. How long is each session?

The duration of our Virtual Poet's online sessions depends on the size of the group. Please allow 5-10-minutes per person. For maximum engagement, we recommend either 1 x 60-minute session.

3. How many people can take part?

Given that it takes 5-10-minutes per person, we recommend a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 people per session.

4. Do guests need anything to be able to participate?

No, although it may be worth encouraging attendees to consider potential themes in advance.

5. Is this interactive?

Absolutely! Our Virtual Poet needs guests to participate by sharing their suggestions and stories, to create each poem.

6. How can this experience be customised?

The poems themselves are unique to each person, however, poems can be produced on stationary branded with a company logo. This must be discussed in advance and confirmed at least 3 weeks before the event. Alternatively, instead of a virtual live-streamed experience, custom poems can simply be posted or emailed to recipients as a gift.
